H.E. Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, and key representatives from the Ministry and Mawani toured Saudi Global Port's facilities to witness the improvements at Container Terminals 1 and 2 in King Abdul Aziz Port Dammam following the successful consolidation of both terminals by SGP last year on 01 Oct 20.
SGP presented its SAR 1 billion investment plan over the next 3 years to enhance the terminals' capabilities. The implemented automation, digitalisation and sustainability technologies will enable Dammam to emerge as a leading container hub port regionally, and beyond.
SGP will work closely with the Ministry and Mawani to make impactful advancements in the seaport and logistics sectors for the success of Saudi Vision2030 industrialisation initiatives.
