Following the successful consolidation of the First and Second Container Terminals at King Abdulaziz Port Dammam (KAPD) last year, Saudi Global Ports has commenced the first phase of terminal upgrades and development to transform KAPD, with the appointment of civil engineering consultant Jacobs Engineering Group.

Jacobs Engineering Group brings their expertise in port design and experience in supervising construction works across Saudi Arabia to this transformational project. The First Container Terminal – which has been in operation for more than 30 years - will be upgraded, while the Second Container Terminal will also be expanded to serve the next generation of mega vessels. We are proud to contribute towards Saudi Arabia’s thriving economy and to be a strategic enabler of its Vision 2030 plans!
