Chairman of the Eastern Province Chamber Abdurrahman Bin Rashed Al Rashed praised the big efforts made by principles of goods and cargo movement at King Abdul Aziz Port Dammam which mostly affect the commercial movement in the Eastern Province during a meeting with the Director General of King Abdul Aziz Port Naeim Bin Ibrahim Al Naeim at the Port General Administration Headquarter Dammam. The meeting was held with the attendance of the Secretary General of the Chamber Abdurrahman Bin Abdullah Al Wabel and the Port Director General Assistant Abdullah Al Hamad. Al Naeim gave a detailed explanation about the Port activities and its current and future projects in addition to its readiness to face this year’s cargo movement season through plans that guarantee the streamlining of the movement.

Al Rashed visited the second container terminal where he was given an explanation about the execution stages and the available technical equipment. He also visited the first container terminal where he was informed about the additional expansion of the terminal and the movement automation in addition to the developed equipment and the techniques used in order to raise the storage capacity of the terminal.

He defined this visit as a positive one, pointing out that it is a part of the communication process between the chamber and governmental agencies related to the Business Sector and most importantly King Abdul Aziz Port during the time when the Kingdom is witnessing an economic growth and an increase in the import-export process. He added that the Port administration and working team are doing their best to complete their tasks in record times in order to serve importers and exporters.
